18.13 Excellent final report structure
An excellent report would use the following sequence:
- executive summary;
- organizational context and decision;
- questions, scope, and success criteria;
- data sources, dictionary, and quality decisions;
- EDA findings organized by question;
- secondary evidence and geographic compatibility;
- model purpose, validation, performance, and limitations;
- forecasts, projections, scenarios, and CLV;
- integrated findings;
- recommendations and implementation plan;
- evaluation measures and decision rules;
- limitations and next steps; and
- technical appendices containing code, detailed tables, and diagnostic output.
The report should not repeat every graph produced during exploration. Each retained figure should support a question, limitation, conclusion, or recommendation.
