5.6 Receiving and using feedback
Feedback should be recorded and interpreted, not merely collected. For every material comment, record:
- the comment or concern;
- the source and date;
- why it matters;
- the proposed response;
- the owner;
- the due date; and
- whether the comment was accepted, adapted, deferred, or declined with rationale.
Conflicting feedback may require clarification or escalation. A team should not quietly select the easiest comment while ignoring the one that most affects project validity.
